About me

My name is Anna Ivanchenko, I live in Kyiv, Ukraine and work as translator and interpreter from English and French into Ukrainian and Russian. In 2007, I graduated from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University with major in Translation and Interpreting, and in 2010 defended my thesis and received a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from the same university.

I have an experience of living in the countries of my working languages. First, as a participant of exchange program “Freedom Support Act / Future Leaders Exchange”, I studied in the USA (La Veta, CO) in 2000-2001. Then I obtained a MA in Conference Interpreting (Russian, English, French) from Institute of Translators, Interpreters and International Relations in Strasbourg, France, having lived there in 2012-2013.

I’ve done translation and interpreting professionally since 2004, and I have worked in various subject fields and contexts with a whole range of clients. I have successfully performed assignments for governmental institutions, international organizations and NGOs, corporate clients and creative industries from Ukraine, Russia, the EU countries, the USA and Canada.
